About Joy

Joy has been singing, acting and attempting to dance for an extremely long time. Beginning at age 8 in her first role as the title character in Oliver! (apparently there were no actual boys in Teaneck, New Jersey), Joy has been trying to stay in show business ever since. She transitioned from child actor, to regular kid, to actor with a child thanks to her very supportive family. Joy loves musical theatre, opera, symphonic music, movies and a good rock concert equally. With credits ranging from Romper Room to Serpico to Fiddler on the Roof to The Crucible, Joy loves the life that chose her, though sometimes yearns for the stability her civilian friends enjoy. Well, only sometimes.
